unlucky nick clegg
it's nice to see that people of britain aren't as foolish as they might have seemed during may when david cameron and nick clegg ended up ruling the roost. in a recent opinion poll (carried out by the guardian last week) we see the lib dems gaining only 10% of the vote and labour recieve 41%, with the tories just slipping behind them with 39%.

China: Who is David Cameron?
There were articles yesterday flying around claiming that most Chinese people aren't even aware of who David Cameron is, people were responding with 'Churchill' when asked who is the British PM. Today he seems to be pussyfooting around the issue of human rights in China, after his visit in 2007 where it seemed that was all he banged on about, it seems he's changed his tune. His carefully calculated speech will state: "The rise in economic freedom in China has been hugely beneficial to China and to the world. I hope in time this will lead to a greater political opening because I am convinced that the best guarantor of prosperity and stability is for economic and political progress to go in step together." Which translates simply to "Hello China, our economy is in ruins and we are getting desperate. Please trade with us?". Although not expressing it in such terms, all of the British press are aware and explaining the real motives behind his falsely advertising speech. As English is a language commonly spoken within China, I am more than certain that those intelligent and academic folk with whom Cameron is speaking with will be able to get their hands on some form of British website or newspaper which explains Cameron's real motives (obvious economic trade issues and worries of them becoming a super power to rival the US) and explain the truth behind his riddles of pro- British politics. Why would China aspire to be like Cameron and the mess behind him that is Britain?
american idiots
When I visited the Washington Post website @ 00.13 on 10th Nov, George Bush’s book wasn’t even mentioned on the front site, yet on most British newspaper sites it got home page status or 'most read'. To find an article about it I had to make the effort of clicking on ‘Politics’ and even then I was not met with George W Bush, but instead I had to scroll on and on and search for him myself. Stumbled across him at the bottom of the page, and was greeted with the headline “Bush: Mother's miscarriage shaped my pro-life views” and a small picture of his ape-like head. It is only underneath this catchy and inspiring title that we see ‘related’ news which consists of the following: Bush defends waterboarding, Iraq war; Bush book: No news, no apologies; WATCH: Bush kicks off book tour. What is wrong with Americans? Don’t they care that they elected a complete jackass to office during the years of 2001- 2009? It would appear not as their ‘Most Read’ article on the Washington Post site is “For black men who have considered homicide after watching another Tyler Perry movie”. Absolute idiots.

my new love interest
I usually don't get sucked into shit saturday tea time viewing, however this year I'm not even going to pretend that I am not loving X Factor. Any suggestions of an activity for a Saturday (and most compellingly, Sunday) night must be strictly arranged around my X Factor hour or two. I don't know if it's the occasional show of chest hair from Simon or the standard of talent this year which has made the program so addictive? Most likely the chest hair as his neck lines are noticeably more plummeting than those of Cheryl or Danni. Another weakness of mine was confirmed this week when Matt sang his beeeeeeeeeautiful rendition of The First Time (Ever I Saw Your Face). I have enjoyed his presence on the show throughout, his cheeky cockney accent and down to earth, humble attitude towards the show is admirable. We're used to hearing the part time Painter and Decorator slash part time selfconfessed 'bum' amazing us with his ability to hit the high notes, however Saturday was simply sensational. Unaware of the emotional ties which Matt had to that song before his performance, he was absolutely astounding and had everyone gripped to it. His tears made him so much more beautiful than we ever could have hoped and my limbs are all crossed for him winning. PS really pleased that slutbag Katie is out so he isn't tempted to get with her. PPS Good night.
